Hawkmet, UK have taken delivery of their new Leopard 33 N Baling press for their busy yard in Stourbridge. The Leopard baler is the latest design from Birim featuring 110kW motor, autolube on all rams and an extensive filtration system designed by Hydac. All Birim machines have a Rexroth designed hydraulic system. Production will be 9.5 – 15 t/h. This is the 4th baler purchased by the group.

R. Davies Metals have taken delivery of their new Leopard 44 2-3. This 180kW machine bales steel clips at 10t/hr making 160kg bales. The huge 2×3 metre box makes light work of bulky scrap items like sheets, clips and profile.

Infinity Metals in Pudsey, Leeds have taken delivery of their new Lion 44 Baler. This automatic machine makes light work of copper, aluminium and steel scrap with a final compression of 175t
